Multi-Media for Education

Finally, a multimedia editing suite that’s easy enough for anyone to use. In the recent past, it took weeks to learn the art of editing audio and video. Now, VeriCorder makes it easy to record, edit and send digital media, all done on your iPhone or iPod Touch App. Today, journalism students can easily create their own television news stories. Instructors can create their own educational podcasts, and post them to iTunes U or a school website.

VeriCorder has developed a suite of apps designed and priced specifically for educators and students, 1st Video U, ShowCase U and VC Audio U. Our educational package combines an institutional subscription where we set up a MIMS account to manage and deliver the content and individually purchased student or faculty apps to use on an iPhone or iPod Touch. These apps can only be fully used by those registered at an educational institution with a VeriCorder account.

Fanshawe College created a customized app for their Broadcast Journalism and Radio Broadcasting students. Students purchase and download this app off of the iTunes Store and enter in their secure user name and password. VeriCorder integrated the software into Fanshawe College’s radio and journalism newsroom systems.
