FAQ

1. Where can I get the User Manual for ShowCase?

CLICK HERE to register and receive a copy of the ShowCase user manual.

2. Why do I have to register to get the manual?

We register users for the manual so they can be constantly updated when the program changes. We are adding major new features to ShowCase in the coming months, and will send updated manuals as those changes occur.

3. My iPod Touch doesn’t have a microphone. How can I record anything with ShowCase?

Simple. Just add a small external microphone. You can find three excellent microphones on our website store.

The Blue Mikey, which provides excellent stereo sound, and lets you control the recording volume. The VeriCorder Mini Mic, designed for up close recording and the VeriCorder Video Mic, which is designed for recording at a distance, or recording with iPhone’s video camera, at a distance of two feet (65 centimeters) or more.

4. When I record with my iPhone, using an external mic, I sometimes hear a clicking noise in the recording. What’s up with that?

All cellphones emit Radio Frequency noise, which can interfere with a recording. Put your iPhone into Airplane Mode to avoid this problem.

5. There’s no controls for cut, copy, paste, etc. Why not?

To see these tools perform a single two-finger tap while in editing mode. Additional context-sensitive tools will appear in a pop up menu.
